Twelve Seniors from the 2013 Class at Hialeah Senior High, members of the Humane School Initiative Club, received the Humane Foundation Honor Award medal at graduation last Friday June 3 for their dedicated participation in all the programed activities, events, and challenges of the club embracing the Humane Foundation's vision of a Humane World.
During this school year, the club received two important awards, the 2012 Animal Heroes Award granted by Humane Educators Reaching Out; and Finalist School of the Green School Challenge by Dream in Green NPO.
I proudly congratulate the HSI Club members of the class 2013 for their accomplishments and invite them to keep working to make the world a more humane place.
